Our team
Stephanie COA, MA, Office Manager

Stephanie has been a cornerstone of Fort Wayne Cataract and Glaucoma Center since 2002, bringing over two decades of experience in both clinical and administrative domains. A graduate of Michiana College with a degree in Medical Assisting, she found her calling in eyecare and has since built a career marked by dedication, adaptability, and leadership.


She has been a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) since 2008, her experience includes over 15 years assisting Dr. Argus in surgery, where she provided steady, skilled support in fast-paced clinical settings.


As Office Manager, Stephanie leads with empathy and precision, fostering collaboration across teams and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. Her deep institutional knowledge and firsthand expertise make her an invaluable resource for staff development, patient care coordination, and continuous improvement.

Marie - COA, Compliance & Billing Specialist

Marie has been a dedicated member of Fort Wayne Cataract and Glaucoma Center since 2010, contributing over 15  years of experience in eye cafe. She holds an associate's degree in health information technology and earned her COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) in 2007. bringing a strong blend of clinical insight and administrative skill to the practice.

Throughout her career, Marie has worked across multiple subspecialties in ophthalmology, demonstrating adaptability and a deep understanding of patient care. Her commitment to excellence and collaborative spirit make her a valued team member and a trusted resource for both patients and colleagues.


Jessica – COA, CCMA

Jessica began her journey with Fort Wayne Cataract and Glaucoma Center in 2014 as an externship student while completing her associate's degree in applied science. With over 20 years of experience in direct patient care, she brings warmth, dedication, and clinical expertise to every interaction. 


She holds dual certifications as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) and a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) and is especially passionate about patient engagement and education. Jessica's commitment to compassionate care and her hands-on experience make her an essential part of the clinical team.

Danielle - B.S., COA, OSA, OSC 


Danielle joined Fort Wayne Cataract and Glaucoma Center in 2017 and has grown into a versatile and valued member of the team. Starting at the front desk, she quickly expanded her skills to include technician duties, scribing, and surgical assistance, demonstrating a strong commitment to learning and patient care. 



She holds certifications as a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) and Ophthalmic Scribe (OSC) and serves as an Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant (OSA). Danielle brings a well-rounded understanding of clinical workflows and patient interaction. Her adaptability and eagerness to grow make her an essential part of the practice's success. 

Dakota COA, Surgical Assistant 

Dakota joined Fort Wayne Cataract and Glaucoma Center in 2021 and quickly became a versatile member of the clinical team. She serves in multiple roles, including technician, scribe, and surgical assistant, contributing her skills across a wide range of patient care activities. 


Originally from Kentucky, Dakota received her ophthalmic training before relocating to Indiana. Her dedication to learning and her hands-on approach make her a reliable and valued presence in both clinical and surgical settings.

Totianna COA

Totianna joined Fort Wayne Cataract and Glaucoma Center in 2020 as a technician, bringing with her several years of prior experience in both ophthalmic assisting and optical services. She earned her COA (Certified Ophthalmic Assistant) designation in 2021 and continues to expand her clinical expertise. 



Known for her effective communication skills and patient-focused approach, Totianna plays a key role in delivering efficient, personalized care. Her background and dedication make her a trusted member of the team and a valuable contributor to the patient's experience. 

Sherri - Front Desk Administrator 


Sherri joined Fort Wayne Cataract and Glaucoma Center in 2023, as the Front Desk Administrator. She has been a wonderful addition to our team. With her welcoming smile and caring demeanor, she seems to have made a positive impact on the patients' experience right from the moment they check in. Her friendly and professional demeanor ensures a positive experience for all callers as she demonstrates exceptional analytical skills. Sherri is always Eager and enjoys Learning more about Ophthalmology and patient 

care.
